Product Overview & Specs

Shield Anchors (also known as projecting bolt anchors) consist of a three- or four-segment steel shield and a tapered wedge cone. When the bolt is torqued, the wedge cone pulls into the shield, expanding the four steel segments uniformly against the base material.

Common Applications: Structural columns baseplates anchoring, cable trays support, plumbing hangers, and machine installations on older masonry walls.

Material availability: High-tensile zinc plated steel and hot dip galvanized steel.
